Development of Advanced Packaging Technology in NCAP China

Dr. Peng SUN

General Manager, National Centre for Advanced Packaging

Speaker Biography:

Dr. Peng Sun currently holds the position of General Manager of NCAP (National Center for Advanced Packaging). During his tenure, Dr. Sun has performed a variety of management roles, including VP of RD, Director of NPI & Engineering and Sr. Manager of Strategy & Planning. He has over 18 years of experience working in the development and implementation of advanced packaging at NCAP, STATS ChipPAC and ASTRI. He has published more than 20 technical papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He has been granted more than 50 invention patents. He received a Bachelor’s degree from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2001, Master from Shanghai University in 2004 and Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology and Shanghai University in 2007 respectively.
